ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Purpose To describe and characterize a finding, i.e., delayed posterior leakage of food residue during swallowing, according to age, gender and food consistency, which occurred in the event. Methods Data were collected through the analysis of each functional videonasoendoscopy test of swallowing previously recorded in a specialist outpatient clinic. The study population included 200 patients, both males and females, aged between 46 and 87 years, with and without an underlying pathology for dysphagia. The images were studied individually by the researcher and analyzed by judges in order to identify and select images that would confirm the presence or absence of the study event. Results Delayed escape was found in 45 out of the 200 analyzed tests. The tests selected for the study showed delayed posterior bolus leakage in at least one consistency. The highest frequency of delayed posterior leakage occurred with fluids. The analysis showed the significance of the study event with the population related to older ages in the sample analyzed. Conclusion Delayed posterior leakage occurs predominantly in the liquid consistency in older populations with no gender predominance.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To compare the positive rate of microbiological examination in different clinical specimens, and to provide reliable basis for improving the quality of microbiological examination and management of nosocomial infection.@*Methods@#A total of 2 028 bacterial culture specimens were collected from the hospitalized patients in the Second People's Hospital of Jinanfrom March 2016 to February 2018.The samples were examined by Micro Scan autoSCAN4 automatic bacteriological identification analyzer.Strictly according to the specification of the standard operation, the positive rates of microbial testingof all kinds of clinical specimens were statistically analyzed.@*Results@#The positive rate of microbiological examination in 2 028 clinical specimens was 44.33%.The positive rate of microbiological examination in sputum was the highest(58.96%), followed by ophthalmic secretion(40.64%), eye contents(37.96%), urine(34.55%), blood(21.11%).@*Conclusion@#The positive rate of microbiological examination is different in different clinical specimens. The epidemiological situation of nosocomial infection can be understood by analyzing the microbiological examination of different clinical specimens in clinic. In order to provide a reliable basis for clinical prevention and treatment of nosocomial infection, and to further improve the positive rate of clinical microbiological examination, we should actively carry out improvement countermeasures against its influencing factors.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze medical critical value management present situation, proposed the corresponding counter-measure.Methods Used a retrospective analysis method to analyse 506 cases of medical critical value report in the Second People’s Hospital of Neijiang City in September of 2014,and did constituent ratio of critical values with software, and differ-ent time frequency, critical values occur in different clinical departments, critical value report etc. Results The highest rate of the critical value of laboratory medicine was platelet (PLT),the project was accounted for a total 16.80%,followed by:white blood cell (WBC)13.24%,serum creatinine (Cr)12.25%.Critical value report was concentrated at 9:00~11:00,ac-counted for about 34%;Tuesday and Thursday urgent value reported more volume,Sunday less.Critical value report number was:severe medical center (ICU)accounted for 24.70% of the total number of emergency, department of internal medicine for 21.15%,Department of hematology for 19.57%.Conclusion The inspection department personnel must seriously im-plement the critical value report system of laboratory medicine, clinical departments to seriously implement the critical value reporting and registration system. Each year, according to the evaluation of medical test critical values, ensure medical quality and safety.
